1. Who I am

Walk with Claire Pet Care is a dog walking service run by me, Claire, based in Stubbington, Hampshire. This privacy notice explains what information I collect, how I use it and how I keep it safe. You can contact me about anything in this notice on 07818 440072.

2. What I collect

When you get in touch through the enquiry form, by phone or by text, I collect the details you give me: your name, contact details, where you are based, and information about your dog. If you become a client, I will also hold the details needed to care for your dog, such as their routine, health information, your vet's details and an emergency contact.

3. Why I collect it

I use this information to reply to your enquiry, arrange and provide the services you book, keep your dog safe, and keep simple business records. I do not use your details for marketing, and I will not add you to any mailing list without asking you first.

4. Who else sees it

I never sell or rent your information. The enquiry form is processed by Netlify, which hosts this website and passes your message to me. If you become a client, your new client form is collected and stored using Google Forms, and my business email runs on Google’s Gmail service, so Google processes that information on my behalf. In a veterinary emergency, I may share relevant details about your dog with a vet. Otherwise, your information stays with me unless the law requires me to share it.

5. How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are normally deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept while you use the service and for a limited period afterwards for business and legal purposes, then deleted.

6. Your rights

You can ask at any time to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just call or text me on 07818 440072. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

7. Cookies and this website

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Like most websites, the hosting service (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, and the site's font is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google when the page loads.

8. Changes

This notice may occasionally be updated. The latest version will always be available on this website.
